Paraniyam Government Vocational Higher Secondary School is located at Thirupuram panchayath near Poovar, Thiruvananthapuram. Its under Neyyattinkara sub educational district (Block) and Thiruvananthapuram educational district.This Co-Educational Institution with Primary,Upper Primary, High School and Vocational Higher Secondary departments. 

High school activities are coordinated by Headmistress/Headmaster and Vocational Higher Secondary Activities are coordinated by the Principal.The school is approachable by road from paraniyam vazhimukku junction.

Vocational Higher Secondary Education department got two new NSQF couses. Only 66 schools in the kerala state and 10 schools in Thiruvananthapuram district implementing NSQF from 2018 onwards.
